Fuel Prices Jump .03 Cents Just In Time for the Holidays

With the holiday season upon us, one might think fleet owners across the country might get a break on the price of fuel. Unfortunately, the opposite happened with more than a three cent hike per gallon. The On-Highway National Average rose across the country this week to $2.527, an increase of $0.034 according to the U.S. Energy Information AdministrationThe Rocky Mountains saw the greatest jump with a $0.048 hike up to $2.495 a gallon.

The smallest leap came from California with just $0.017 even though its average gallon was the highest coming in at $2.854. The Gulf Coast maintained the lowest average with a price of $2.410 per gallon.

No matter where your fleet operates, make sure that you purchase your fuel with the "Powerful Card". It offers cash price at the pump and savings through the Zero Fee network.
