Diesel Prices Climb Higher In August

Diesel prices continue to rise across the country according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. The on-highway national average went up a total of $0.050 to $2.581.

This constitutes the fifth straight week of jumps, the largest coming from the Rocky Mountains with an increase of $0.058 up to $2.673. California saw the smallest hike with a $0.23 bump, but stays at the top of the list with average gallons of $2.930. And finally, the Gulf Coast maintains its spot of the lowest average coming in at $2.410 despite the $0.051 change.
