Diesel prices continue to drop for the third week in a row after a previous six-week climb. The cost in fuel in the United States went down an average of $0.014. California saw the largest price decrease with -$0.035. The West Coast and the Midwest saw the largest overall region price drops with -$0.020.

All regions experienced a price drop from this time last week as well as this time last year. The Rocky Mountain region experienced the greatest decrease in price from last year with -$1.084. The Midwest has the lowest diesel prices this week with an average of $2.754, while California has the highest with an average price of $3.182. These fuel prices are a part of a weekly report published by the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
