Diesel prices drop in New England but are on the rise for the rest of the Nation according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. The on-highway national average was $2.572, up $0.007 from last week.
With a decrease of -$0.010, New England sees the only price drop of the week with an average of $2.658. The Gulf Coast had the lowest average coming in at $2.433 even though it was a jump of $0.009. The Rocky Mountains had the largest increase with a $0.026 hike up to $2.548. California holds the highest average coming in at $2.966 with a raise of $0.009 over last week.
