Diesel prices are lower this week according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. The on-highway national average was down to $2.595 from last week's $2.597.

California and New England saw the smallest increases with $0.001 jump, but California maintains the highest average at $2.947. Central Atlantic region had the highest bump with a $0.012 hike up to $2.782. The Gulf maintains the lowest average at $2.458 with no movement over last week.
