The On-Highway National Average for a gallon of diesel fuel rose this week by $0.013 to $2.493 according to the U.S. Energy Information AdministrationMost regions reflected this trend, except for the lucky few in the Rocky Mountains and California who saw a -$0.010 and a -$0.006 decrease.

The largest jump came in the Central Atlantic, which saw a $0.031 increase. Even with a $0.010 hike, the Gulf Coast is still the lowest price with an average of $2.371, and California still tops the list with an average of $2.837.
