Lower-Carbon Fuels For Commercial Road Transport

BIOFUELS
Currently making up 3% of the global demand for road transport fuel, biofuels are a renewable energy source, and a valuable part of the energy mix for fleets. Made from organic matter or waste, they can be blended into diesel, and are a cost-effective way to make your vehicles emit fewer emissions.
Natural Gas
Cleaner-burning fuels made from natural gas offer a stepping stone on the path to zero-emissions fleets. Both compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquified natural gas (LNG) are emerging as cost-competitive and cleaner transport fuels for heavy-duty road transport. Additionally, renewable forms of natural gas are also becoming more and more available in both compressed and liquified forms such as RNG (or R-CNG) and BioLNG
Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs)
Companies and cities around the globe are electrifying their fleets to reduce operating costs while meeting environmental targets and goals. Depending on the application, battery-electric trucks can be cost competitive with diesel.
Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEVs)
Hydrogen has a critical role to play in helping the world reach net zero emissions. Hydrogen can be produced from diverse domestic resources with the potential for near-zero greenhouse gas emissions. Once produced, hydrogen generates electrical power in a fuel cell, emitting only water vapor and warm air. It holds promise for growth in both the transportation energy sector because it offers a near-diesel level range, power and refueling speeds.
